Melba Ann Dalton Sharp, 55, of Jasper, died Saturday, March 10, 2007 in a Chattanooga hospital."Miss Melba" was a Bookkeeper with the Marion County Schools for 24 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Jessie Walker Dalton.She is survived by her husband, Glenn Sharp; children, Wendy & Keith Gantt and Buddy & Misty Sharp; brother and sister-in-law, Jesse, Jr. & Robin Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie & David Wilson; mother, Anita Dalton, all of Jasper; grandson, William Gantt of California; several nieces, nephews and one great-niece.Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2 PM CDT on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 with Reverend Meg Poister officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 1-9 PM CDT on Monday, March 12 at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper.
