Melody Rachel Capshaw, 62, of Jasper, TN went home to be with her Heavenly Father and be reunited with her earthly father, Vernon Capshaw on Monday, June 6, 2022.

She was born March 24, 1960, Melody graduated from Marion County High School in 1978.  After graduating from David Lipscomb College, she continued to live in Nashville and work for USI until the time of her death.

Although she never married, she spent much of her time doing for others.

Melody is survived by her mother, Claudine Capshaw of Jasper; brother, David (Angie) Capshaw of Jasper, TN; nephews, Daniel (Miracle) Capshaw and Caleb (Jocelyn) Capshaw; great nephew, Evan Capshaw and great-niece, Ella Peach.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. (CST) at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper, TN, with Minister Bill Watkins officiating.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 12:00 (Noon) to 2:00 p.m. (CST) at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper prior to the chapel service.

Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN.

Pallbearers will be Dale Denny, Brad Fisher, Martin Adampa, David Capshaw, Daniel Capshaw and Caleb Capshaw.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that any memorial donations be sent to Crieve Hall Church of Christ, 4806 Trousdale Dr., Nashville, TN 37220, a congregation Melody was a faithful worker and member of.
