Michael Fitz-Gerald, Jr., 61, of South Pittsburg, TN died suddenly on Friday, February 28, 2014.
A graduate of Coffee County High School in Manchester, TN, he attended Cleveland State College, the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and served for a short time in the Merchant Marines at Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Fitz-Gerald, Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Charlsie Fitz-Gerald of South Pittsburg; sister, Doris (Stan) Baron of Franklin, TN; nephews, John "JB" (Sheena) Baron, IV of Yakota, Japan and Dane Baron of Franklin, TN; aunts, Fay Ziegler of Lookout Mountain, TN, Bobbie F. Henry and Mary Groover of Chattanooga, TN; uncles, Troy Gullette of Chattanooga and Melvin Hargis of Rising Fawn, GA; and several cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 1pm Central time. Interment will follow at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, TN.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday evening from 5-8pm Central time at the funeral home.
