Mildred June Barnes Gouger, 70, of Jasper, Tennessee, died Monday, November 12, 2018 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Sophia Rachel Davis Barnes, and brother, James Ray Barnes.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William Lee Gouger; son, Billy (Christy) Gouger; daughter, Missy (Mark) Smeltzer; grandchildren, Erin Smeltzer, Carmen (Gentry) Bell, Jacob Smeltzer, and Maggie Smeltzer; sisters, Nancy Layne, Carol (Russell) Prince, and Ruth (Robert) Goff; brother, Bob (Sharon) Barnes; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Central time at the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Goff and Rev. Russell Prince, officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 14th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Central time and on Thursday, November 15th from 11:00 am until service time.
