Obituary

Mildred Brown Boyd Crouch, age 94 of Nashville, TN, died at home on December 5, 2013 of natural causes.
She was born on October 1, 1919, in Marion County, Tennessee to William Reese and Bessie Brown Boyd. She was married to Charles E. Crouch for more than 65 years, supporting him in his career as a minister in the churches of Christ and raising two children, Barbara and Dave. She was an experienced Bible class teacher, an avid bird-watcher, and a dedicated contributor to Knitwitters, a group at Hillsboro Church of Christ that knits hats for newborns at Nashville General Hospital as well as children in Nashville's inner city, Afghanistan and Ukraine.
Mildred is survived by her two children, Barbara (Norman) Fox and Dave (Tammy) Crouch; six grandchildren, Tiffany and Ted Fox of Nashville, TN, Tara Fox of Cleveland, OH, and Charlie, Jack, and Johnny Crouch of Franklin, TN; siblings Clyde Boyd of Jasper, TN; Virginia Lyons of Tampa, FL, Doris Hardaway of Mt. Juliet, TN, Faye Lofty of South Pittsburg, TN, and Vernon Boyd of Detroit, MI; and a number of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 6, 2013, from 5-7 p.m. at Hillsboro Church of Christ, Nashville TN, and on Saturday, December 7, 2013, from 12-2 p.m. Central Time at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Saturday at 2 p.m. Central Time. Interment will follow at the Cumberland View cemetery in Kimball, TN.
Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Fund at Hillsboro Church of Christ.
