Mildred Farias, 73, of New Hope, TN, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022.

Mildred Farias, known as Midge, loved quilting, crocheting and crafts. She dearly loved her dog Jasmine, and would always take any other animals in need under her wing. Midge had a strong sense of family and kept close ties to her roots and community in New Hope in which she was born and raised. Always in devoted service to anyone in need, she knew no strangers.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth F. Baker; brothers and  sisters Lucille Chapman, Danny Blevins, Eddie Blevins, Shirley Ledbetter, Katherine Layne and Meritta Frame, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Oscar and Myrtle James Blevins and brothers, J.W. Blevins and Kenneth Blevins.

A graveside service will be held at the New Hope Cemetery on Thursday, March 3 ^, 2022 at 3:30 PM Central Time.

There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
