Mildred L. Jones, 76, of Ladds, TN died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at her home. She was a beloved mother and devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.The daughter of the late Robert G. and Mattie Beasley Moats, she had been a part-time mail carrier for the Guild, TN Post Office. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Harley Gene Jones and an infant brother, Charles Moats.She is survived by her two daughters, Diahana (Dean) Pippenger of Ladds, TN and Barbra (Michael Skaletsky) Jones of Roswell, GA; two grandchildren, Robert (Joy) Pippenger of Chattanooga and Tina Pippenger of Ladds; great-grandchildren, Megan Hobbs, Megan Pippenger, Hunter Hobbs, Trey Pippenger, McKenna Hart, Savanna Hart; beloved cousins and caretakers, Rayburn & Sandy Prince, Gary, Cindy and Bumper Davis; beloved dog, Missy Ling-Ling; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 5 PM CST with Reverend Charles Kilgore and Reverend Jerry Irwin officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:30 - 9 PM CST at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper.
