Nancy C. Carroll, born on May 14, 1952, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in her home December 23, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of the late Harmon and Dorothy Colby and is now reunited with her loving husband Bob, as well as her son Matt and daughter Beth.

Nancy was a remarkable woman, known for her deep love for family and friends. She was a true servant of God, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her generous, loving, warm, kind soul and unwavering faith in Jesus were evident in her daily life. She often spoke of the joy of being with her parents, Bob, Matt, and Beth one day in heaven, which brought comfort to those around her.

She is survived by and will be dearly missed by her daughter, Melissa Marler (Wayne); her stepdaughter, Risa Carroll-Kulovitz (Lewis); her stepson, Ric Carroll (Teena); four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Also mourning her loss are her sister, Linda Thompson; her brother, Bob Colby (Joy); several nieces and nephews; and her dear friend Angela Warren, whom Nancy affectionately referred to as her "baby sister." Her loyal puppy, Sophie, who was by her side to the very end will miss her greatly.

A devoted member of Christ United Methodist Church, Nancy's faith guided her actions and inspired those who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Christ United Methodist Church, the Rescue Mission of Chattanooga, the Salvation Army, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Antioch Baptist Church & Cemetery in McDonald, Tennessee.

Nancy will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Bob Carroll, and her son and daughter.

Numbers 6: 24-26: "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace."

Nancy's legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
