Nancy Ann Gattone, 86, of Wildwood, Ga, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026.

Nancy was born in 1940 in Cheyenne, Wyoming and grew up in Yellowstone, Savannah, GA, Wilmington, NC, then to Rome, GA during her high school years. She attended college at Chicago University where she studied Fashion Merchandising. She married Richard Gattone in 1960 and was a loving mother of two children and a faithful Marine Corps wife during Richard’s 26-year career. She lived in the Atlanta area for 25 years before building her retirement home in Wildwood, Ga in 2005.

Nancy worked in sales and management for Max Factor for many years and other interesting jobs along her journey.

She is preceded in death by her parents Roger and Ellen Wolcott, former husband Richard Gattone, and some very close friends throughout the years.

She is survived by daughter Angela Gattone, son Rick Gattone, grandson Justin Davis, granddaughter Allie Davis, sister Judy Cody, nephews Brian and Scott Cody, niece Heather Cody, and two cats.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering at the LMFP Clubhouse in Wildwood, GA with a date TBA.
