Obituary

Neal Crosby Henderson, 59 of Knoxville, a native of South Pittsburg, died peacefully Thursday morning, April 2, 2009 at his home surrounded by his family.A member of West End Church of Christ and a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Neal was a unit operator with T.V.A. for 25 years and was an avid runner and Tennessee Volunteer fan.
Neal is preceded in death by his father, Luther Henderson of Kimball, TN. He is survived by his loving family: wife, Beverly Keith Henderson of Knoxville; daughter, Rebecca Henderson of Franklin; sons and daughter-in-law, Adam and Tessie Henderson of Maryville, and Daniel Henderson of Knoxville; mother, Mary Ellen Henderson of Kimball; sister, Cheryl Hill of Dunlap; brother and sister-in-law, Johnsie and Alyne Henderson of Brentwood; two nieces and one nephew.
Funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at West End Church of Christ in Knoxville with Minister Russell Cook officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. (CST) Sunday at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper for a graveside service with Minister Billy Watkins officiating. Pallbearers: Rusty Hargis, David Jackson, Sr. Paul Evans, Toby Stewart, John Witcher, Ronnie Thomas, Todd Smith.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to West End Church of Christ Mission Fund, 8301 East Walker Springs Lane, Knoxville, TN 37923. The family will receive friends Saturday following the funeral service at West End Church of Christ. Arrangements by Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel in Knoxville.
