Mrs. Nellie Jane Huckabee Brown, 81, of South Pittsburg, TN died Friday, September 21, 2007 in a local nursing home.The daughter of the late Thomas Richard and Mary Sue Layne Huckabee, she was a lifelong resident of South Pittsburg. A former bookkeeper for RA Padgett's Exxon distributors, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in South Pittsburg where she taught Sunday School for many years.She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert "Bobby" Brown of South Pittsburg, brother, Reed Huckabee of South Pittsburg and niece, Mary Reed Looney of Scottsboro, AL.Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 3:30 PM CDT on Sunday, September 23, 2007 with Ministers Jim Warren, Charles Crouch and Gardner Scott officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM CDT on Saturday, September 22 at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.Memorial donations can be made to your favorite charity.
