Nona Ann Bratcher Friend, 82, of Parkville, Missouri died peacefully Thursday, June 30, 2016 at her home.

A native of South Pittsburg, TN, she worked for many years as a nanny. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Harrison and Anna Samples Bratcher; four sisters, Geraldine Leffingwell, Martha Bratcher, Jo Holloway, Alma McCarver; and two brothers, Ralph Nolan Bratcher and William Lonnie Bratcher.

She is survived by her husband, Warren Lee Friend of Parkville, Missouri; children, Johnny Webb, Denise Burnett, Charles Friend; grandchildren, Cynthia Webb, Jonathon Woodrome, Athena Ray, Charles "C.J." Friend, Jr., Faith Love Friend, and Trew Friend; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 11:00 am Central time. Interment will follow at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, TN.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Central time at the funeral home.
