Mrs. Odell Reeves Brown, 75, of South Pittsburg, TN, lost her lengthy battle with cancer Friday evening.

The daughter of the late Eurman and Ida Blevins Reeves, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Reeves, and four sisters, Nellie Don Griffin, Vera Ann Case, Wilma Griffith, and Margie Rogers. She was a life-long member and Sunday School Teacher at Pine Grove Baptist Church in New Hope, TN.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Tom Brown, sons, Wade Brown, Brent (Betty) Brown, and Lance (Cydney) Brown, all of South Pittsburg; sisters, Imogene Raley of Chattanooga, Pauline Anderson of South Pittsburg, Mary Lou Brooks, and Naomi Hibbs, both of New Hope; her grandchildren, Taylor Brown, Blake Brown, Britney (Cody) Smith, and Carden Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, August 6, 2012, at Pine Grove Baptist Church in New Hope, with Rev. Patrick Nelson and Rev. Mickey Skates officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
