Opal Reynolds Hill, 89, of New Hope, Tennessee, finished her long and difficult journey on Monday, November 26, 2018.

One of ten children born to the late Dave Edward & Emma Elizabeth Kennemore Reynolds, she was a lifelong resident of the New Hope Community.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Hill, son, Thomas David Hill, brothers, James C. Reynolds, Frank Reynolds, and Junior Reynolds; sisters, Christine Free and Eleanor Ward.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane Hill (Steve Raulston), and Doris Stockman (Rachel); grandchildren, Melody Renee Castleberry (Ben), and Sarah Elizabeth Johnson (Joey); two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Caleb Johnson; sisters, Grace Johnson and Patsy McCurry; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg at 1:00 p.m. Central time on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 with Rev. Joe Moore officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 27th from 2:00 – 7:00 pm Central time and on Wednesday, November 28th from 11:00 am until service time.
