Opal Mae Peoples, 79, of South Pittsburg, TN, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 27, 2022 with her loving family by her side.

Opal loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She enjoyed being outside walking and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie (Bill) Peoples, parents, William, and Eula Mae Haggard; brothers, Dallas Haggard, Alvin Haggard and James haggard; sister, Barbara Haggard.

Survivors include her daughter, Paula (Jason) Dykes; grandchildren, Whitney (Tyler) Davis, Hannah Coffman; great grandchild, Jacelyn Davis; several nieces and nephews and a long-time best friend and co-worker Freda Mason.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. (CST) in the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Case officiating.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. prior to the funeral service in the chapel.
