Patricia Wyatt Hill “Patty”, 90, of Kimball, Tennessee, a loving mother, devoted grandmother, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Patty was the widow of Gordon Hiram Hill, Jr., and was preceded in death by her beloved son, Raymond Brint Hill; her parents Raymond and Mayeotis Wyatt; and her brother Dicky Wyatt.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Hill of Kimball; daughter-in-law, Paige Hill of South Pittsburg; and six grandchildren, Josh Barba-Hill (Kevin), Garrison Guess, Carrie Hill, Hannah Guess, Grace Guess, and Kate Hill; brother, David Wyatt (Cindy).

A native of Memphis, Patty attended Central High School and Memphis State College, where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. Before devoting herself to motherhood, she taught at South Pittsburg Elementary School.

An accomplished breeder and member of the Chattanooga Kennel Club, Patty bred numerous American Kennel Club (AKC) champion Chow Chows and Pugs, a lifelong passion that brought her great pride and enjoyment.

Patty and her late husband, Gordon, played an instrumental role in the incorporation of the Town of Kimball, personally conducting the town’s original census. Their efforts reflected a lifelong commitment to the community they proudly called home.

A woman of deep and abiding faith, Patty was a devoted member of Kimball Baptist Church, where she served faithfully as a Sunday school teacher, youth advisor, and Vacation Bible School director. Her dedication to her church and her family remained central to her life.

Patty will be remembered for her steadfast faith, strong convictions, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the community she helped shape.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at 12:00 (noon) (CDT) in the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home with Rector Isaac Blevins officiating.

Mrs. Hill will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Gordon H. Hill at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (CDT) prior to the funeral service in the chapel at noon.

Pallbearers: David Wyatt, Josh Barba-Hill, Kevin Barba-Hill, Garrison Guess, Trever Linn, and Gary Guess.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, or Hospice of Chattanooga.

The family wishes to express its heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of Chattanooga, with special appreciation to Tina Pryor for her exceptional kindness, compassion, and devoted care during Patty’s final days.
