Paul Lindsey Gouger, Jr., 68, of Jasper, TN, died Wednesday, December 3, 2015 at his home following an extended illness.


He was the son of the late Paul Lindsey and Margaret Coleman Gouger and was a Vietnam Veteran having served with the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Haggard and two sons, Martin Henderson and Tracy Henderson.


He is survived by his wife, Martha Gouger of Jasper; sons, Will Gouger of Wichita, KS, Lynn Gouger of South Pittsburg, TN and Joseph Henderson of Haletown, TN; daughter, Sonia Phillips of Jasper, TN; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Elizabeth Hughes of East Ridge, TN, Donna Croft of Ringgold, GA and Robin Craig of Chattanooga, TN; several nieces and nephews.


The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, December 7, 2015 from 10:00 AM until service time at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper.


Funeral services will be conducted at Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 12:00 Noon Central time on Monday, December 7, 2015 with Rev. Anthony Baker officiating.


Interment will be Monday afternoon at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors at 2:30 PM Eastern time (1:30 Central).
