Paul Padgett
Paul Franklin Padgett, 85, of South Pittsburg, TN, died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at his home. He was the son of the late William Earl and Mabel Louise Greenway Padgett. An Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, he served as an Air Policeman and was discharged as a Sergeant, having received the Good Conduct Medal.
He was a beloved brother and uncle to his family, which includes his brother, James Edward Padgett, of Chester, PA; sister-in-law, Carolyn Trussell, of South Pittsburg, TN; nephews, Allen Trussell, Billy and Richard Padgett and Terry Trussell, nieces, Kelly Condra, Ginny Lou McAbee and Shawn Padgett.
Graveside services will be Friday, September 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM CST at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Joe Moore officiating.
Visitation will be Friday at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg from noon until time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Wesley United Methodist Church, South Pittsburg.
