Mr. Paul D. Skyles, 63, of Bridgeport, AL died Monday, March 31, 2008 in a Chattanooga hospital.
A member of the National Guard for over 20 years, he was an employee of Taylor's Machine Shop in Richard City, and had retired from Combustion Engineering after 30 years. He loved to fish and attended Snowford Church in Stevenson. He was preceded in death by his parents, JW Skyles and Velma Nelson Skyles; brother, Billy Skyles; son, Paul Brian Skyles.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Blizard Skyles of Bridgeport, AL; daughter, Amy (Kenny) Frame of South Pittsburg; grandchildren, Katie, Trey and Tyler Frame; sisters, Alice (Jimmy) Pemberton of Columbus, GA, Mary Sue (Howard) Pemberton of Athens, TN, Patsy (Jay) Hutchins of Kimball, TN, and Brenda Skyles of South Pittsburg; brothers, Bill (Wanda) Skyles and James Skyles both of South Pittsburg, J. L. (Darlene) Skyles of Buchanon, TN and Bobby (Carolyn) Skyles of South Pittsburg; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 3 PM with Reverends JB Jones and Ronnie Case officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Bridgeport.
The family will gather with friends for visitation on Wednesday from 6-9 PM CDT at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
