Mrs. Paulean Haney Rector, 71 of South Pittsburg, TN died Saturday, January 29, 2011.

The daughter of the late Grover Haney, Jr. and Nancy Elizabeth Crow Long Haney she was a lifelong member of Pine Set Baptist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Rector, Jr.; grandchildren, John David and Jeffrey D. Gass; great-grandson, Malachi Canada; 2 sisters, Christine Haney and Wilma Teague; half-brother, Grover Haney.

She is survived by her children, Vickie Davenport of South Pittsburg, TN, Patsy Burrow of New Hope, AL, Nancy Rector of Scottsboro, AL, Donna Robinson, of Gainsville, GA, Lisa Swift of Sarasota, FL, Michael Rector of Sewanee, TN, Tony Rector of Chattanooga, TN and Marvin Rector of South Pittsburg, TN; two sisters, Linda Huddleston of Decatur, AL and Daisy Bruce of Georgia; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; half-brother, Chris Haney and half-sister, Loretta Haney, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, January 31, 2011 from 5-9 PM CDT at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, February 1, at 11:00 AM CDT with Andy Lockhart and James Helton officiating. Interment will be in Tate Cemetery.
