Pauline Reeves Barnes, 93, of South Pittsburg, TN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 6, 2022 with her loving family by her side.

Pauline was born on January 10, 1929 to the late George and Ida Reeves.

She was a long-time member of Long Island Baptist Church.

Pauline was loved and will be missed by those that knew her.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Barnes; son, Walter Richard Barnes; parents, George Eurman Reeves and Ida Evelyn Blevins Reeves; brother, Vernon Reeves; sisters, Imogene Raley, Wilma Griffith, Odell Brown, Nellie Don Griffin, Margie Rogers and Vera Case.

Those left to cherish her memory, daughter, Barbara (Larry) Jones; sisters, Naomi (Raymond) Hibbs, Mary Lou Brooks; daughter-in-law, Connie Barnes; grandchildren, Rick (Ann) Barnes, Stephanie (Buddy) Durham; great grandchildren, Stephen (Christina) Barnes, Beth (Heath ) Bailey, Denson and Dru Durham; great-great grandchild Rhys Bailey and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday, August 10, 2022  in the South Pittsburg Chapel at Rogers Funeral Home with Bro. David Morona and Bro. Robert Caudill officiating.

Pauline will be laid to rest with her husband Robert Barnes at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. (CST) and on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. (CST) prior to the service in the Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Scott Partin, Jerry Crosslin, Lance Brown, Brent Brown, Mickey Reeves and Danny Fox.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Blevins and Wade Brown.
