Peggy Lee Lancaster, 65, of New Hope, TN, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at her home with her family by her side.

Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be missed by all that knew her.

She loved taking road trips, eating out at favorite restaurants, looking for treasures at flea markets.

Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and dinners with the family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Hollis; brother, Robert Hollis, sister, Edna Shrum, and stepdad, Charles Payne.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Dennis Lancaster; three sons, Danny Lee Lancaster, Allen Edward (Athena) Lancaster, Robert Kyle (Angie) Lancaster; grandchildren, Bailey Lancaster, Savannah Lancaster, Adam Lancaster, Lacey Lancaster, and Adrianna Lancaster; mother, Lillie Mae Payne; sisters, Katie (Tommy ) Adams, Ann Stephens of Wildwood, Ga, Oleta Hollis of Wildwood, Ga,; brothers, Kelsey (Debbie) Hollis, Claude Hollis, and Randall Hollis; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. (CST) in the South Pittsburg chapel of Rogers Funeral Home with Mayburn Guess officiating.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (CST) and on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. (CST) prior to the funeral service in the chapel.

Mrs. Lancaster will be laid to rest at New Hope Cemetery in New Hope, TN.

Pallbearers will be Sam Rush, Ethan Stephens, Evan Nichols, Evan Hewitt, Patrick Carson and A.J. Hollis.
