Peggy Faye Coffey Wynne Boyd was born January 23, 1947 to Floyd Grant and Maudie Radford Coffey in Knoxville, TN. She moved to Marion County at the age of 21 and lived the remainder of her life here in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley. No matter the pain or heartache, she tried always to have a smile for everyone. She never met a stranger, never met anyone she couldn't love, and always had a hug for everyone. We will miss her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Grant and Maudie Radford Coffey and by one brother, T. Eugene Coffey.
She is survived by her loving husband, W. Clyde Boyd of Jasper; two sons, Brian (and Angela) Wynne of Etowah, TN and Robert M. (and Sara) Wynne of South Pittsburg, TN; step-children, Paul (and Polly) Boyd of Hixson, TN, Elizabeth (and Gene) Mitchell of Marietta, GA; brother, Eddie Coffey of Kimball, TN; several nieces and nephews; one step-grandson, Patrick Boyd of Hixson and four beautiful grandchildren, Brittany Faye Wynne of Murfreesboro, TN, Brianna Christina Wynne of Cookeville, TN, Jessica and Allan Wynne of South Pittsburg. They were her sunshine.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at 2pm Central time with Tim Storey officiating. Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 5-8pm Central time at the funeral home.
