Philip Gary Kennemore, 83, of South Pittsburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, November, 23, 2020.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict, and retired from Rockwell International and Mueller Company. Mr. Kennemore served as Master Mason of the Marion Lodge No. 515 for fifty years.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Barbara Christine Kennemore; parents, John and Paralee Kennemore; daughter, Shelby Atwell Kennemore, grandson, Philip Eugene Atwell, brothers; Joe (Bob) Kennemore and Wesley Hope Kennemore, sisters; Alane Lewis and Elaine Nelms.
He is survived by his children, Roger Kennemore, Randy and (Joanne) Kennemore and Trace (Tracey) Kennemore, grandchildren; Randal, Cade and Cassidy Kennemore and Calvin Atwell, great-grandchildren; Laci, Luke, and Kate Kennemore Chase and Sara Atwell, Courtney and Abby Atwell, siblings; J.L. Kennemore, Ray (Joan) Kennemore, Royce (Renee) Kennemore, Jerry (Jane) Kennemore, Wayne (Debbie) Kennemore and Karen (Cliff) Raulston. Sister-in-Law, Mavis Kennemore, many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will have a private visitation prior to the graveside service.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, November 29, at 2:00 pm at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Logan Jackson, officiating. All friends and family are welcome to attend the graveside service.
Pallbearers will be Owen Barns, Jr., Trevor Barnes, Sam Nelson, III, Mason Christopher, Garrison Christopher and Joseph Lilly.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holly Avenue United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 189, South Pittsburg, Tennessee.
