Phyllis Griffith
Phyllis Cluck Griffith, 76, of South Pittsburg, TN died December 20, in a Nashville hospital. A native of Maryville, TN she was the daughter of the late William Paul and Vera Love French Cluck.
Phyllis was a graduate of Everett High School and received her teachers training at Tennessee Wesleyan College and the University of Tennessee.
She taught Home Economics/Family Living for 42 years, primarily in the Marion County Schools and was active with the F.H.A. Phyllis was a member and choral singer at Holly Avenue United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Wendy Perry of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Camille Key Perry and Griffin McRae Perry, both of Nashville, TN; sister, Paula Hicks, of Atlanta, GA and several nieces, cousins and many friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Holly Avenue United Methodist Church at 12:00 Noon Central.
