Mr. Raymond Lawhenore, Jr., 58, of Bridgeport, AL died Thursday, May 17, 2006 at his home following an extended illness.The son of the late Raymond, Sr. and Nora Tant Lawhenore, he was a resident of Bridgeport his entire life and was a member of the Church of Christ in Rocky Springs. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War and was employed with the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local #43 for over 35 years. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ruby W. Lawhenore of Bridgeport, son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Angie Lawhenore of Burlington, CO, daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie & Jason Brooks of South Pittsburg, daughter, Payton Lawhenore of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Brody, Tyler Lawhenore, Tory Benson, Kalie, Kyla and Kason Brooks; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Jerry Odell of Stevenson; mother-in-law, Myrtle Woodall of Scottsboro; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Talmadge and Shirley Woodall of Stevenson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Sunday, May 21, 2006 at 2 PM CDT with David Smith and Danny Rader officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends Saturday, May 20, 2006 from 4 - 9 PM CDT at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
