Rebecca Lucille Gibson "Becky" Love, 82, of South Pittsburg, TN died Thursday, October 16, 2014 at her home following an extended illness.

The daughter of the late John and Sara Etta Friel Gibson, she was a member of Richard City Baptist Church and was a former employee of South Pittsburg Municipal Hospital, K-Mart, Marion Lumber and Dr. Wayne Rimmer. She enjoyed her family, friends and her cat, Tabby and was active in the church and was a former Brownie and Girl Scout leader.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Geter Love, Sr. and three brothers, Billy Gene, Homer and Jack Gibson.

She is survived by her son, Geter Love, Jr.; daughter, Nancy Humphreys both of South Pittsburg, TN; grandchildren, Chuck Humphreys, Apryl (David) Barrett both of Chattanooga, TN, Colt (Martha) Love, Sydney Love both of North Carolina, Dana (Jay) Thorley of Sun City, AZ and Jason Love of Phoenix, AZ; several great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Powers of South Pittsburg; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Johnny Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Saturday, October 18th from 6-8pm Central time.
