Richelle Carmody, 57, of Ringgold, GA, passed away on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021. She loved and was loved deeply by family and friends. Serving people and her community was a significant part of who Richelle was.

She was a closing coordinator for DK Real Estate and was a loyal Cracker Barrel employee for over 25 years. She was gregarious and fun, a competitive pool player, an avid reader, and an advocate for people and animals. Quick to say hello, everyone who met Richelle found her to be full of kindness and joy. She also cherished her faith: being active with Young America Ministries, a caregiver for the elderly, and giving herself to help others in need.

Richelle Carmody was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Sue Carmody, and her father, Richard Allen Carmody.

Survivors include her siblings:  Susan Carmody Heard, Richard A. Carmody III, Patrick Shane Carmody; her aunt and uncle:  Rene and Brian Bolton; her nieces:  Mary Elizabeth Saylors, Emmalea Elizabeth Gomberg, and Rebecca Suzanne Gomberg;  and her nephew,  Douglass Ethaniel Snyder; and many beloved cousins.

Richelle was a selfless and giving person to the end. Her final gift of life was to donate her organs.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 19, at 1:00pm (CST)  / 2:00pm (EST) at Rogers Funeral Home Chapel in South Pittsburg, TN.

There will be no public visitation.
