Rickey Ellis, Jr., 36, of Chattanooga, TN went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 26, 2019.

He was a loving son and father who will be missed by everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tommy and Mary Musgrave.

He is survived by his mother and dad, Kathy & Alvin Horton; father, Rickey Ellis, Sr.; children, Tyler and McKayla; sisters, Candace (Johnny) Wilson, Kim (Randy) Hollis, and Danita (Rodney) Youngblood; brothers, Steve (Sheila) Horton, Pat (Kim) Horton, Alvin (Tara) Horton, Jr., Sean (Shannon) Horton, and Bryan (Candy) Horton; grandfather, George W. Phillips; special aunts and uncles, Leon & Ann Johnson of Dunlap, TN, Addie Phillips Bell, Johnny Harrison, and all of the other special family members and friends here and in heaven. He loved all his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Central time (4:00 p.m. Eastern) on Saturday, August 31, 2019, with Bro. E.J. Farmer and John Harrison officiating.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. Central (11:00 a.m. Eastern) until service time.
