Robert "David" Barnes, 67, of South Pittsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 16, 2021.

Robert was a graduate of Bridgeport High School and retired from Wheland Foundry. He was an avid fisherman.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Siler; wife, Diane Barnes and son, Robert David Barnes, Jr.

Survivors include his three sisters, Sheila O'Leary, Carol (Joe) Hibbs, Cindy (Jack) Brown; step-son, Michael Bratcher; cousins, Michael Barnes, Dennis Hall and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. (CST) at Battle Creek Cemetery in Battle Creek, Tennessee.

There will be no public visitation.
