Robert Brewer,78, of Jasper, Tennessee passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 24, 2022 with his loving family by his side. He was born to the late William Albert Brewer and Lucille Poe Brewer in Jasper, Tennessee,  where he grew up.

He worked at Chattanooga Glass for 22 years.  After 16 years he retired from Serodino Shipyard.

Robert was a member of the Masonic Lodge Olive Branch 297 for 56 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, watching the Atlanta Braves, working in his garden, fishing, hunting, and never missed the chance to help others.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Albert Brewer;  mother,  Lucille Poe Brewer, brother-in-law, Donnie McNeese and brother-in-law Richard Higgins.

Robert is survived by his wife of 55 years, Frances Joyce Moore Brewer, and son, Chris (Bonnie) Brewer, sisters; Magdalene  McNeece, Martha (Louin) Campbell,  Charlsie Higgins, Sheila (Robert) Gilreath, Tina (Bryan) Kilgore and brother, Arlin (Judy) Brewer, grandchildren; Kristen (Phil) Warren, Katie (Tyler) Mansfield; great-grandchildren, Ellie Warren, Runa Warren, Blakelyn Mansfield, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Rogers Funeral in Jasper, on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. (CST) with Pastor Greg Steele officiating.

There will be a Masonic service in chapel prior to the funeral service starting at 11:30 a.m.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. (CST) and on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. prior to the funeral service in the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home.

Robert will be laid to rest at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be David Brewer, Wesley Brewer,  Dale Dagnan, Mike Fuller, Brad Long, and Corbin Long.
