Robert L. "Bobby" Brown, 84, of Richard City, TN died Monday, August 10, 2009 at his home.
Son of the late Sewell and Anna Mae Raulston Brown, he was the middle child of seven children, graduate of South Pittsburg High School, a US Army Sgt. during WWII, a retired, 41-year employee of Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative and songleader and member at the Richard City Church of Christ.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Huckabee Brown.
He is survived by his brother Jere Raymond (Mary Jane) Brown of South Pittsburg, TN and his sister Edith "Rose" Brown Phillips of Chattanooga, TN and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg on Thursday, August 13th from 5pm to 8pm, CDT.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 14th at 10am CDT, officiating will be Gardner Scott, Charles Crouch and Billy Watkins. The interment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN.
