Robert Ray King, 65, of South Pittsburg, TN died Monday, April 29, 2013 at his home.

The son of the late Gertrude (Hall) and John King, Jr., he was a US Army veteran and a former employee of Lodge Manufacturing having retired in 2009. He was of the Methodist Faith and was preceded in death by his parents; ex-wife, Linda King; grandparents, John & Dola Mae King and John & Mary Ida Hall.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Kilgore King of South Pittsburg; children, Linda Gail Smith and Kris (Glen) McCurry both of South Pittsburg, Cheri Fugate (Owen) O'Reilly of Bridgeport, AL, Stephanie Stonesifer of Jasper, TN and Gary (Tiffany) Mosley of South Pittsburg; sisters, Wilma (Paul) Hibbs of South Pittsburg, Connie (Marlon) Nelson, Sara June (Marc) Lee both of Jasper; brother, Roger (Liz) King of Jasper; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2pm Central time on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 with Rick and Loranda Lyons officiating. Interment with full military honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, April 30th from 3-9pm Central time at the funeral home.
