Robert Lee "Minnesota" Kanady, 58, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died Monday, September 26, 2016.

A Retired US Navy Veteran of Desert Storm and a member of the VFW, he worked as a welder in the construction industry and will be remembered for how much he loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrell Dale Kanady and Peggy Louise Welch Kanady and brother, DeLynn Quincy Kanady.

He is survived by his children, Devin Kanady of South Pittsburg, Tennessee and Nathan Kanady of Jacksonville, Florida; brothers, Mike and David Kanady both of Camp Verde, Arizona, Charles Kanady of Arizona and Stephen Cochran of LaFayette, Georgia; sister, Wishon Lucille Kanady of LaFayette, Georgia; step-sisters, Kathy and Connie of Nevada; special friends, Ronnie & Treva Brown of Jasper, Tennessee; and ex-wife, Gina Harpster of Jacksonville, Florida.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.

There will be no services at the funeral home.
