Ronald Griffith, Sr., 61, of South Pittsburg, TN, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at his home.


He was a former employee of the Pittsburg Knitting Mill and a member of the Rocky Springs Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Griffith and grandparents, Lem & Willie Pearl Smith and Frank & Bertie Griffith.


He is survived by his wife, Mary Wynne Griffith of Kimball, TN; children, Ronald (Jessica) Griffith, Jr., Betsy Danyale Griffith both of Jasper, TN, Shone (Samantha) Griffith of Hixson, TN, Shane (Candy) Griffith of Bridgeport, AL; mother, Sue Griffith of South Pittsburg; grandchildren, Taylor, Elise, Andrew, Madison, Landon, Haley, Lacey, Copelin, Christian, Cali, Tripp and Piper; siblings, Jean (Bobby) O'Leary of South Pittsburg, Fay (Johnny) McCrary of Bridgeport, AL, Susan Griffith, Mike (Jerilynn) Griffith, Karen Griffith and Debbie Griffith all of South Pittsburg; several nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Central time on Friday, December 18, 2015 with Billy Watkins officiating. Interment will follow at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, TN.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 5-7 pm Central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
