Ronnie Smith, 60, of Jasper, TN died Thursday, March 2, 2017 in a local hospital.

The son of the late Melbourne & Elvie Gladys Crabtree Smith, he had attended Ebenezer Church in Jasper. Ronnie worked for many years as a carpenter in the construction industry. He was a simple man and a hard worker - a wonderful dad who took care of his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Brenda Sue Hastings, Willowdean Cargile, and Betty Sue Jones, and two brothers, Wilburn D. Smith and Donnie Smith.

He is survived by two sons, Jake Smith and Cory Smith, both of Jasper, TN; three grandchildren; sisters, Darlene Smith and Debbie Nelson; brothers, Elmer Smith and Milton Smith; several nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends, Jackie Coffelt and Ron McGowan.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 3:00 pm Central time at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, TN.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 1:00 - 2:45pm Central at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, TN.
