Roy W. Ridley, Sr., 71, of South Pittsburg, TN, died Thursday, March 9, after a brief illness.He was the son of the late George Shelvy and Hazel Gordon Crumbliss Ridley. He was retired from the Air Force and Siskin Steel. He was a member of the American Legion, Air Force Sergeants' Association and the Legionnaires. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Aubrey Ridley, and a great-grandson, Tristan Lane Hubbard. He is survived by his wife, Ann Ridley, of South Pittsburg; his children, Ramona Ridley, Teresa (Mitchell) Ladd, Reba Gail Ridley, Roy (Kim) Ridley, Jr., all of South Pittsburg; one brother, George Shelvy Ridley, Jr., of Columbus, GA; one sister, Rose Blevins, of South Pittsburg; eight grandchildren, Chris (Crystal) Ladd, Arien (Thomas) Hubbard, Lee Ridley, Colt and Rhyley Ridley, Allyson Ridley; four great-grandchildren, Michael, Daniel and Sean Ladd and Gage Hubbard; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Funeral services will be conducted from the Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, Saturday, March 11, at 11:00 AM, CST with Rev. Joe Moore officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, March 10, from 5-9 PM, CST at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
