Ruby Jeanette Shrum Anderson, 80, of South Pittsburg, TN, died Friday, September 22, 2017, at her home.

Ruby spent most of her life raising babies. She enjoyed quilting and loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Levander & Mattie Parson Shrum, husband, Hubert Anderson, sister, Beulah Pebble and brothers, Francis, Leroy and John Shrum, 2 great-grandchildren, Malachi Canada and River Anderson.

She is survived by her children, Thomas (Greg) Anderson, of Nashville, TN, Frank (Madge) Anderson, Darrell Anderson, Daisy (Scott) Anderson and Linda Anderson all of South Pittsburg, Roy Anderson, of Monteagle, TN, Phillip (Carol) Anderson, of Jump Off, TN and Jesse (Machale) Anderson of South Pittsburg; sisters, Mary Hicks, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Evelyn Anderson of Phoenix, AZ and Brenda Johnson, of South Pittsburg, TN; brothers, James Shrum, of Phoenix, AZ and Wayne Shrum, of Crossville, TN; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home, on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 2:00 pm Central Time. Interment will be in Tate Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Central Time at the funeral home.
