Ruby H. Peardon, 94, of Guild, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at her home surrounded by her family.The daughter of the late Ira and Mattie Chastain Henderson, she was the oldest living member of the Guild First Baptist Church where she had always been very active. She was a former member of the Home Demonstration Club, loved to cook and was a great housewife, mother and Granny. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Manuel Peardon; sons, Jimmy and Clifford Peardon; grandson, Tim Peardon; five brothers and two sisters.She is survived by one son, Ronald E. Peardon, Sr. and his wife, Brenda of Jasper; daughter-in-law, Jane Peardon of Guild; grandchildren, Ronald (Lisa) Peardon, Jr. of Hillsboro, TN, Josh Peardon of Red Bank, Wes (Becky) Peardon of Kimball, Brittany Peardon of Jasper, Eddie (Debbie) Peardon of Jasper and Suzy Martin of Guild; great-grandchildren, Matt, Jennifer (Heath), Chuck, Mary, Alisha, Christa and Paisley; great-grandson, Kaeden Gruetter; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 2 PM CDT with Revs. Ronnie Smith and Walter Patterson officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 1-9 PM CDT on Tuesday, October 17, at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper.
