Mrs. Ruth King Webb, 72, of Jasper, TN died Sunday, January 11, 2009 in a local hospital.
The daughter of the late William Earl and Claudia Mae Vincent King, she was an active worker and lifetime member of Bible Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Webb and brother, William Milford King.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Layne of Monteagle, TN, Patricia (Maburn) Guess of Stevenson, AL, Brenda (Stanley) Morrison and Robert (Joyce) Webb all of Jasper, Diane (Harry) Alums of Hixson, TN, Peggy (Kenny) Walraven of Whitwell, TN and Doris Webb of Jasper; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Earline Ferguson of Jasper and Sarah Anderson of Everett, Washington; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from Bible Baptist Church at 2 PM on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 with Reverend Johnny Talley and Reverend Jim Styers officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper.
The family will gather with friends for visitation on Monday, January 12 from 6-9 PM CST and on Tuesday, January 13 from 9-9 PM CST at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper.
