Sallie Louise Grimes, age 89, of Whiteside, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

Sallie was a loving and caring person who loved everyone she knew, and she was loved by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kind heart and the love she shared with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Thomas Grimes and Goldie Grimes; brothers, William “Tom” Grimes and Paul Grimes; sisters, “Jo” McDaniel and Billie Jean Grimes.

Those left to cherish her memory include her great-niece, Becky (Chuck) Bells; special friend, Frank Coates; friends, Sheila Tanner, Charles and Anita York, and Kevin and Amanda Coates.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (CDT) in the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home with Jack Grimes officiating.

Interment will follow at Hooker Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. (CDT) prior to the funeral service in the funeral home chapel.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
