Samuel Lambert, 88, of Jasper, TN, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 2, 2022.

Sam was a lifelong resident of Jasper and attended Jasper First Baptist Church.  Sam retired from TVA Widows Creek Steam Plant followed by owning and operating a small business on Sand Mountain.

Sam was a veteran of the  United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert (Bob) Lambert and Ruth Lambert and his wife of 67 years, Jeanette Andrews Lambert.

Survivors include his brother, Willard (Mary) Lambert of Huntsville, AL; Children, Steve (Phyliss) Lambert, of New Hope, Sandra (Jim) Cooper of Jasper, TN, and Becky (Warren) Bigelow of South Pittsburg TN; grandchildren, Ryan Lambert, Sam Cooper, Wes Cooper, Cole Sanders, and Kelsi (Brady) Rorex; one great granddaughter, Mackenzie Lambert and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. (CST) in the chapel of Rogers Funeral in Jasper, TN with Pastor Greg Steele officiating.

Sequatchie Valley Veterans Honor Guard will conduct full military honors.

Sam will be laid to rest with his wife Jeanette Lambert in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper, TN.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. (CST) prior to the chapel funeral service at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper.

Pallbearers: Ryan Lambert, Sam Cooper, Cole Sanders, Wes Cooper, Brady Rorex and Eddie Andrews.

Honorary Pallbearers: Men's Disciple Class

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jasper First Baptist Church or St Jude Children's Hospital.
