Shelia Jane Piazza (Peoples), 71, of New Hope, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at her home.

Shelia was born on June 27, 1954, to George and Margaret Ann Peoples.

Shelia was a member of Kimball Baptist Church, and she lived a life full of love, family and faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret Ann Peoples; and her brother, Tommy Peoples.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas (Tom) Piazza; niece, Stacy (Brandon) Parker; great niece, Bailey (Nelson) Overby; and her favorites, great niece, Mazie Harriss; great nephew, Ayden Parker and great- great grandnephew, Xander Overby.

Funeral services will be held at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, TN with Reverend Bruce Howland officiating on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 2:00 pm (CDT).

Mrs. Piazza will be laid to rest at New Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, May 11, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm (CDT) prior to the funeral at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, TN.

Pallbearers will be Hugh Peoples, Keith Foster, Ryder Overby, Brandon Parker, Michael Piazza, Vincent Piazza and Hayden Davis.
