Shirley Samples
Shirley Jean Samples, 78, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at a health care facility in Gallatin, TN. She was born February 3, 1937, a daughter of the late John W. and Grace Hill Samples of South Pittsburg, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harold and John Samples both of Gallatin, TN; brother-in-law, Jack Mumaw of Hendersonville, TN; and sister-in-law, Evelyn Samples of South Pittsburg.
Survivors include her sister, Margaret Jo Mumaw of Hendersonville, TN; brother, Grady (Carolyn) Samples of Old Fort, TN; and sister-in-law, Odell Samples, of Gallatin, TN.
She also leaves nieces, Robin Hyatt, Kim Bishop, and Stacey Rongey; and nephews, Jimmy Moore and Mike Samples.
Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg is in charge of arrangements.
A private family ceremony will be held at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, TN.
