Mr. Stanley W. Shrum, 80, of Jasper, TN died Saturday, February 6, 2010 in a Chattanooga Hospital.
The son of the late Walden M. and Cora Drake Shrum, he attended Kimball Church of Christ for many years. He was a United States Veteran and will be remembered by his grandchildren for being such a wonderful grandfather. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Shrum and daughter-in-law, Edna Shrum.
He is survived by his children, Stan Shrum of Jasper, Danny and Gary Shrum of Kentucky; daughter, Linda Crisp of Tracy City, TN and Kelly Daniels of Texas; several grandchildren, including Jackie Shrum of Bridgeport, Jason Shrum of New Hope and Luke Shrum of Jasper; great-grandchildren, Chase Havner and Kylah Campbell and Olivia Shrum; brother, Chuck Shrum of Jasper; sister, Ethleen Gibson of Murfreesboro, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 2 PM CST. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 3-7 PM CST at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper.
