Larry Stephen Chance, 63, of South Pittsburg, died Friday, October 3, 2008.
The son of the late Robert Steven and Ollie Mae Siler Chance, he was a Viet Nam veteran of the US Navy, a member of the VFW and American Legion, and a member of Carpenter's Local #74.
Mr. Chance is survived by his wife, June Chance of South Pittsburg, a daughter, Carolyn (David) Mathley of New Hope, a son, Eugene Chance of South Pittsburg, three sisters, Josephine (Ronnie) Poe and Paulette (David) Green both of Apison, TN, and Vicky (Doug) Goff of South Pittsburg, three grandchildren, Carrie-Ann Sneed, Dustin Sneed, and Jade Chance, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Monday, October 6, 2008, at 2:00pm CDT with Rev. Ronnie Case officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm CDT.
