Ted Creek, Jr., 67, of Jasper, TN died in a local hospital on Sunday, August 21, 2011.

The son of the late Ted Sr. and Mary Ellen Jordan Creek, he retired from AT&T as a supervisor after 30 years of service and was a previous member of the IBEW Union. He had a passion for travelling, especially in the Western US and to Sanibel Island; and he loved fishing in his younger days. Mr. Creek loved the outdoors, driving, wildlife watching, and sightseeing while traveling. His hobbies included tinkering and working around his house and for his family. He was also preceded in death by his special aunt, Emma Jordan and nephew, Ray Blankenship.

Mr. Creek is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Hookey Creek of Jasper, to whom he was married on July 2, 1966. He is also survived by his daughter, Pamela (Scott) Milliken; grandchildren Patrick Joseph Milliken and Melanie Autumn Milliken all of Farragut, TN; sister, Jane Blakenship of Crystal River, FL and brother, Jimmy Creek of Bridgeport, AL.

The Creek family will receive friends from 3:00PM - 8:00PM Central Time on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 Central Time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, officiated by Rev. Kriss McGowan. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, TN.
