Thomas Anthony, 81, of Hixson, Tennessee, formerly of Jasper, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024.

Thomas was a teacher for 35 years in the Marion County School System.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Mary Anthony; brother, Billy Anthony; sisters, Jean Gibson and Wilma Harris.

Those left to Cherish his memory are his sister, Linda (Karl) Thrasher, his best friend, Tony Johnson and his family, and all his special nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. (CST) at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee with Pastor Leah Hooper officiating.

Interment will be at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Jasper Tennessee.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. (CST) at the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home, 21 East Fifth Street, Jasper, Tennessee 37347.
