Obituary
Thomas L. "Tom" Brown, 88, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died Thursday, March 8, 2018 at his home.
The son of the late Lymon Journal & Margaret Elizabeth Harris Brown, he was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a plumber for many years and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Odell Reeves Brown and brother, James Hershel Brown.
He is survived by three sons, Wade Brown (Anita), Brent (Betty) Brown, and Lance (Cydney) Brown, all of South Pittsburg, Tennessee; grandchildren, Taylor Brown, Blake Brown, Britney (Cody) Smith, and Carden Brown.

Funeral services will be held at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 12:00 noon Central time, on Monday, March 12, 2018, with Rev. Mickey Skates and Rev. Kriss McGowan, officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery, with military honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, March 11th, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Central time at the funeral home.
