Thomas Reed Huckabee, 92, of South Pittsburg, TN, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at his home.
The son of the late Tommy Richard and Mary Sue Layne Huckabee, he was a US Army Veteran of World War II and a member of Marion Lodge 515 F&AM. He was also a member of First Baptist Church, South Pittsburg.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Knight Huckabee of South Pittsburg; daughter, Mary Reed (Alan) Looney of Scottsboro, AL; grandchildren, Ashley Reed Looney and Thomas Alan Looney both of Scottsboro, AL; dear family friends, Don Layne and Jim Webb both of South Pittsburg, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2pm Central time on Saturday, April 20th with Rev. Brad Bridgman officiating. Interment will follow in Cumberland View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, April 19th from 5-8 pm Central time at the funeral home.
